Nalarupa

Nalarupa helps architects and designers turn sketches, photographs, models, and ordinary design instructions into visual explorations they can review and refine.

Nalarupa

Problem

Architects and designers often have a sketch, a model, a site photograph, or an unfinished proposal they want to explore. Translating that intention into elaborate image-generation prompts interrupts the design process. A convincing image can also change important geometry or spatial relationships, so visual polish alone is not enough to judge a result.

Solution

Nalarupa starts with the designer’s existing material and a simple instruction: keep the street layout, make the façade quieter, or try a night-time atmosphere. It turns that direction into a visual study the designer can respond to, compare, and continue refining. Built from experimentation inside a working design studio, it keeps attention on design decisions. Outputs are explorations to review, with design fidelity checked against the source rather than assumed.

How

  1. Open Nalarupa with studio access and bring a sketch, photograph, model screenshot, plan, or existing image.
  2. Describe what you want to change in ordinary design language. Use markup when you need to point to a specific area.
  3. Generate a visual exploration and inspect it against the source, checking what changed and what should remain.
  4. Continue from a result or use it as a new source, refining the instruction as the idea develops.
  5. Review the sequence in the gallery and keep the promising results for the next design discussion.

The public website shows actual studio studies and an iterative residential landscape sequence. Nalarupa is currently in early access with a studio password.
